Here is yet another book "written" by Terri Levine. She's obviously back to her old tricks of publishing a book of other peoples thoughts and ideas. If you want a successful salon, just treat people with respect and run your business with integrity. I have 1st hand experience with Mrs. Levine, I paid her $10,000 for coaching and ended up suing her to get it back. Terri Levine scams people and has no idea what respect and integrity is.
This book is packed full with information and has great tips and strategies for salon owners. My aunt owns a salon and throughout my read I would call or text her some great ideas Levine and Levinson had to share. She was so excited she went out and bought the book herself to see what other great ideas they had for marketing her salon. This book is a must read.
Although the first Guerilla Marketing book was first published in 1983, the philosophy is still alive and working today. Levine and Levinson combine here with top strategies customized for Beauty Salon owners. This book contains hundreds of proven ideas and strategies that the Beauty Salon owner can put into use instantly. I consider this book to be my arsenal for success as a salon owner and am constantly referring to it for my on-line and off-line marketing. If you want to grow your salon business there is no other book on the market you need to read. Once you read this book it will be your business bible.
This book really has some good information in it that I can't wait to put into action. I highly recommend other hairstylist to check it out.
I am in marketing, and my sister owns her own beauty salon. Now I am a big fan of Jay's and although Jay Conrad Levinson is the father of Guerilla Marketing I thought, "What can he say about Beauty Salons?" Well let me tell you when he combined with another best selling author, Terri Levine, the duo created a book for beauty salon owners that is a perfect match for how to market a beauty salon today. It's practical, straight-forward and an easy read. You'll want to highlight every page because the information is useful and timely. I had read Jay's older books and several books by Terri and thought I'd give this a shot as a gift for my sister. She is glad I did! She sent me an email about halfway through the book and she said "Finally, a book for the spa owner that speaks our language and knows our business." As far as my sister and I are concerned it is a must read.
