“Saving the ship,” he said, looking at her through bleary eyes. His chest seized as he coughed.

I loved this series based on the Book of Mormon. It really increased my understanding of the culture and times of the Book of Mormon and helped it come alive for me.
This is the last in the Out of Jerusalem series and it got pretty intense at times as Laman really goes off the deep end. It was excellent as usual. Nephi is my favorite prophet and this made me just root for him even more. This series really enhances the scriptural account. I will listen to it again in the future.
Loved it. This is a book that I lost a night of sleep over. I just couldn't put it down. This book concludes the "Out of Jerusalem" series. I loved the story and the things I learned about this family. It makes me think of what might have been. I especially enjoyed Jacob and Eve's characters. Elisheba and Rammah's characters make me think, because the 'Book of Mormon" talks about Ishmale's sons following Laman and Nephi's sisters followed Nephi. How did that work? HBM offers a possible explanation.
Loved this story and the way the author added the gaps with beautiful scenes, and amazing imagination that make the TRUE story complete!
My four teen boys enjoyed this series as well.
